How to improve your mental health (GUIDE)

 Your mental health is probably really bad (you might not even know this) but that's why you are reading this blog. This blog is from my expirience.     



Hi my name's Kacper and I'm 20 years old and this is complete guid on "How to improve your mental health". 

Quick story, when I was 15 I was down bad, I had depression and I were lazy and did nothing useful exepct workingout for around 1 year. I had no passion.



At the start of 2019 I started thinking "what could I do to be a better person". In June 2019 something clicked inside me. I started to go outside looking at the tress listining to birds singing and I were thinking "oh this is really relaxing". And then I thought that if I want to be successful in life I should stop playing video games, they just aren't that funny. You really want to lose 1 hour (or more) of your life every day !?! Yea that's what I thought, so first thing I sugest to do is stop playing video games. But it's not that easy isn't it?

So I don't mean that you should litelary stop playing. 1 day you play another you don't, (it would be much easier right?) But then after few day you will play again so it won't make any sens.

So how to fix it? Well you should play less. For exemple on first week you play 5 times second week you play 4 times ... until you finally stop playing then.

 

On my birthday (17 of november) epidemic started. It destroyed my path to the good side. I was depresed. I did nothing useful again. We (me and my friend) were talking about pandemic and online clases on Discord but then my friend said something about meditation. I were like "what, what is meditation?" I did some reaserch and find out that meditation is really good for mental health. And it's simple ! 

So I tried it. On first 10-13 days I felt nothing, but at day 14 I felt so good, fantastic everything was peaceful. I felt genuinely happy. 

Long time after pandemic one of my friends saw mewhen I was meditating he asked "Kacper, what are you doing?" and I said, "Bro I'm meditating and you should too". So we talked about meditation. He thought that it's gay. Like it's not gay, why would it be? But after all that drama he just sat down and tried meditation. As i said before on first 10 to 13 days he felt nothing. Like you and 90% of people just won't fell anything around those 10-13 days.

So I really recomend meditation it's helpful. And the app I sugest at the start of your journey is MEDITTO it's free. 



At the age of 14 I started workingout, it helped me but not that much. But after I tried meditation and pandemic started home gym was the right thing to do.

 I fell like going to the gym and working out is really good think to do. A lot of people are scared of going to the  gym. And i don't know why. When i were going to the gym a lot of people wanted to help me. Moste of the time those big men that were workingout for a good amount of time wanted to give me advice about workingout. So another thing I recomend is just going to the gym it's really helpful and fun.


 At the same time when I was workingout I saw on redit somone writing about journaling. Now question is "How do I do it?". Well I sugest writing about "What are you gratefull for?"

For exemple

I'm grateful for my mom

I'm grateful that I have a dog

I'm grateful that I workout

I'm grateful for nature around me

I'm grateful for my dad 

You see the point. Thanks to journaling I became more relaxed and calm. Important is that you do it every time you start a day not in the middle or in at the end of the day.

  

Exlacly at the start of 2021 I uninstalled aps like: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twiter and Tinder. I think that social media is the worst thing to do as a young men. They steal our time. Time is priceless and wasting it on social media is not a good thing to do. So I really recomed to just stop wasting time on social media just go to the gym, work on your bisnes or your mental health. If you want to start developing yourself you should start by deliting social medias, especially TikTok and Instagram.

 


Conclusion 


So the Conclusion is that you should 

1. Stop playing video games

2. Start meditating

3. Start going to the gym

4. Start journaling your day and what you did 

5. Say no to the Social Media
